Welcome to the NC Foothills Geocachers site.

This site started back in 2004 and was originally named the Charlotte Geocachers.  It was one of the first local geocaching related websites in the state.  As time went on, it seemed that most of the people that were participating were from the general Hickory area so we reformed as the NC Foothills Geocachers.  We have had members from all over western North Carolina.  

Over the years, this site has allowed folks to connect faces to names that appear in the log sheets and has created new friendships.  We hope to provide a fun, friendly place for folks to get together and discuss all aspects of caching - Geo, Terra or any other related activity.
